I recently published an article extolling the virtues of canning and preserving food. The article was recently posted on East Coast Living’s website, along with the various recipes mentioned in the story. To help promote it, editor Janice Hudson wrote a blog post about the photo shoot, which happened in my own backyard and kitchen.

I also was recently asked by The Coast to write a couple quick blurbs about Halifax’s burgeoning cocktail culture as well as some of my favorite asian eateries.

I also had my first story published in Saltscapes magazine recently.

The story is a profile of food blogger Ruth Daniels. Daniels started blogging late in life, as a way for her daughters to connect with their mother’s culinary prowess, all the while keeping gastronomic traditions alive. The latest issue is on newsstands now.
